No, really, are you?

It only seems appropriate to think of Michael Buffer’s famous catchphrase “Are you ready to rumble?” now that Rocket League has released its latest action packed update: Rumble. Like the previous modes, Hoops and Mutator, Rumble will be available to play for FREE; but this time, Rumble brings a lot more pandemonium by introducing brand new power-ups that will surely up the ante.
These power-ups will appear randomly at the bottom right corner next to the boost gauge after ten seconds from the start of the game, and then chaos ensues! These power-ups bring a new feel and flow to the normal 3v3 Rocket League matches that we’re used to.
The list of power-ups include:
My personal favorites are the Haymaker, Plunger, and Spike. All the power-ups help a great deal with scoring and goalkeeping but it isn’t easy by any stretch. That doesn’t mean that Rumble isn’t fun… IT IS! In my opinion, Rumble is one the best additions to Rocket League.
Rumble isn’t the only addition to Rocket League this fall, in October we will be introduced to an all new arena of play: THE AQUADOME! The Aquadome takes place, you guessed it, underwater, and will also be free to play. In the release trailer we see sharks, jellyfish, coral reefs, and more!
In addition to the release of Aquadome, two brand new Battle cars will be launched: Triton, a futuristic ocean sub, and Proteus, a science-minded research vessel. Both cars will be individually priced at $1.99 each.
First Rumble’s power-ups, and now an underwater battleground; I can’t wait to see what else Rocket League has in store for the future!
